Road Safety Figures
So the road safety figures have been officially released but as usual not ratified until October, with the usual percentages not included where STATS 19 does not have a catagory for the fatality. A rise as predicted looking at the quarterly releases, from 850 to 190, slightly better than expected as some suggested that it would be over 2,000, the first quarter of 2012 of course shows the potential for rise again. Although notably clients are more knowledgable than ten years ago, so the education processes are working.
It's a shame that the EU as a whole, with few exceptions has a rise. Unfortunately for the general public the news is not good, with motorcyclists carrying a disproportionate risk.
