Government partnerships

As part of the 'bring the test to you', cost saving exercise by the current Government it seems that Halfords has been announced today as the preferred partner. Intrestingly as part of a no fee deal. There are some Halfords clearly unsuitable for tests, but they do open at the weekend, so is this a blanket seven day test service as offered in some parts of the UK?

So where exactly will the instructor go whilst the test is out. Not all pupils want to be accompanied, so is that a thumb twindling 45 mins in the rain?
